Die Unterkunft liegt ein paar Autominuten oberhalb von Velas und dem Fährhafen. Die unmittelbare Umgebung schaut aufs erste nicht sehr attraktiv aus (große Tankstelle, Kreisverkehr), aber die Appartemens selber entschädigen für das alles. Sie sind sauber und gut eingerichtet und liegen in einem liebevoll angelegten kleinen Garten mit Palmen, Blumen, kleinen Teichen, ... Von den Terassen hat man einen herrlichen Blick Richtung Pico und Faial.
Vom oben erwähnten Kreisverkehr erreicht man gleich einmal die Nord- und die Südküste von Sao Jorge, ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für die Erkundung der Insel.

The communication with the host was reactive, when not lacking. No answering of WhatsApp messages, no keeping up promises to advise when the room is ready.
The place needs some maintenance.
The price is too high for what your get.
