It was a delight stay…we loved it, both the house & Semur en Auxois & surrounding areas would love to return so

Do yourself a favour and book a stay here. This little house is so beautifully decorated in a simple French style. Everything has been thought of, including extra towels & sheets. We spent 3 weeks here & were sad to leave. We had another couple with us for a week & that also worked easily. Igor was quick to respond to any requests. Highly recommend

It wasn’t a problem for us but be aware there are stairs both inside &to walk up to the village. Good for walking off all the cheeses & pastries!

We had the best time in Semur-en-Auxois. We loved La Chouette and would definitely come back.

This was a perfect house in a gorgeous town. We enjoyed our days exploring local towns, Fontenay Abbaye, Epoisses and the Roman museum. What a fabulous place.

gîte parfait pour un week-end entre amis ! Trois étages avec de beaux volumes pleins de charme avec une vue directe sur la rivière. L’endroit est calme et idéal pour se detendre. Hôte attentif et prévenant.

der Fels in der Küche

Felsen ragt in Küche und gibt dem Haus etwas Besonderes. Kurzer Weg zur Altstadt. Das Haus liegt an einer wunderschönen Brücke. Parkmöglichkeit nur 40 Meter um die Ecke, zum Auslanden kann man kurz halten. W-Lan war top. Vom letzten Hochwasser 2024 ist im EG die Marke zu bewundern. Sonst sind aber keine Auswirkungen mehr erkennbar.

Leider reicht die mobile Klimaanlage nur für ein Schlafzimmer, da Dachfenster im anderen zu hoch liegt.

Une maison de caractère dans une cité de caractère !

Maison ancienne restaurée avec goût, distance raisonnable du centre historique, facilité de parking, bien équipée, café/ thé et condiments à disposition

Pas de vue et rez-de-chaussée assez sombre... Espérons que le chantier en face aboutira à un vis-à-vis satisfaisant ! Beaucoup de petites différences de niveau qui sont incompatibles avec une mobilité réduite, il faudrait bien le dire sur l'annonce...

Étape réussie de 3 jours

L emplacement idéal dans la ville médiévale où il fait bon se promener. La cuisine est pratique. La maison de la Chouette était parfaite pour un séjour à 4 avec des enfants en bas âges. Nous avons passé une très bonne journée au parc de l Auxois

La maison était humide à notre arrivée et l est restée un peu malgré l aération. Les chambres sous le toit refroidissent pendant la nuit.

La communication avec le propriétaire ! A mon arrivée j'ai reçu un téléphone pour savoir si j'étais bien arrivé ! Il a été honnête avec les inondations récentes, ce que j'ai fort apprécié ! Un réel cocon !! Je reviendrai !!

Propreté irréprochable, lieu très confortable où l’on se sent bien grâce à une décoration très sobre qui correspond à notre goût.
