7 / 10Good·May 2026
Very quirky accommodation in a treehouse-like loft above the reception/shop area of this eco site. Beautiful surroundings. The ablutions are separate but near enough. Lovely hot shower. Bar fridge, microwave and kettle in the room. Good value for money, you get what you pay for. It was sufficient for us though as we were out during the day and just needed a place to sleep and shower
The bed was only just adequate enough. Is probably due for a replacement.

If I would rate the restaurant, it would be a 10! Lu opened only for us that day and cooked the best butter chicken curry / pizza ever, for a more than fair price - delicious! Also, there is a shop on the property which makes and sells white nougat and Turkish Delight (Ely Handmade). Learning about the process was interesting and the product amazing! The personnel of the Yellowwood was very accommodating and nice.
Unfortunately, the installations and rooms were quite run-down and filthy. We had to take care not to step into dog poop and the wider surroundings of our cabin smelled nauseatingly of monkey and dog shit. We didn’t feel at comfort at all.

It was very quite forest like experience. Just what we needed to experience a little family time.
There was nothing really we didn't like except that the toilet in the dorm had a issue with flushing.
