    Problem I faced the lady on duty did solve it with the owner, hoping that they'll avoid it in the future.

    Unfortunately we had to cut our stay short because of the death of my uncle. The owner was not understanding and we communicated with him to get refunded or at least find a time to come back to the accommodation because we had only spent 1 night. We did not even spend more than 20 hours at the place. He was rude via email and not considerate. Death is unfortunate and and it was not our intention to leave the place early especially because we were on holiday. We still have not received a plan to resolve this matter.

    Overall, I enjoyed my stay at Tidewaters and would most likely return if I were to visit the area again. While a bit basic, it was a lovely environment and quite cosy. Staff were friendly and helpful overall. However, one staff member needs a bit of training around taking personal calls at work. Each day, she moved around the property, cleaning etc while having long, loud conversations with her phone on speaker - she (and whoever she was talking to) could be heard everywhere! And some guests were still in their rooms (I was also trying to complete some work on my laptop) and it was really distracting and unprofessional. Other than that, it's a lovely venue.
