Elegant and spacious holiday home

Die Lage in der Nähe vom Bahnhof hat für uns gut gepasst. Die Beschreibung, wie wir per Code in die Wohnung kommen, war gut erklärt und hat super funktioniert. Wer schweres Gepäck hat, sollte bedenken, dass die Wohnung in einem normalen Wohnhaus im 3. Stock liegt, wo es keinen Fahrstuhl gibt. In der Umgebung gibt es genügend Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Ausgestattet ist die Wohnung mit allem Notwendigen, ist geräumig und auch gemütlich eingerichtet. Für Nachfragen war der Besitzer/Verwalter (?) zuverlässig schriftlich erreichbar.

Die Küche ist zwar modern und sehr hübsch anzusehen, die Oberschränke sind aber so weit oben angebracht, dass normal große Menschen kaum ankommen. Wir haben also erst mal Geschirr und Gläser aus der "oberen Etage" in die unteren Schubladen umgeräumt. Was mich sehr gestört hat, war, dass ich meine Sachen nicht verstauen konnte. Ich habe das größere Schlafzimmer bewohnt, in dem ein sehr schöner großer Kleiderschrank steht. Die Hälfte des Schrankes war allerdings abgeschlossen und die anderen Schrankteile waren komplett mit zusätzlichen Decken und Kopfkissen, Staubsauger, Wäschetrockner usw. angefüllt, so dass es dort keinen Platz für meine Sachen gab. Als ich beim Verwalter nachfragte, bekam ich die wenig befriedigende Antwort, dass im anderen Schlafzimmer doch genügend Platz wäre und ob ich die Sachen nicht im Schrank dort unterbringen könnte. Am Ende habe ich meine Sachen auf dem Schreibtisch gestapelt und Bügel außen an den Schrank gehängt, was ich nicht so optimal fand.

Our stay at this apartment in Budapest was truly superb overall. The flat was clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was great, making it easy to explore the city, and the overall experience felt very pleasant and hassle-free. On the first day of our stay, the heating was unfortunately not working, which made the apartment quite cold. However, after we informed the landlord, the issue was fixed the very next day—so a thumbs up for the quick response and support. One thing to keep in mind is that the apartment is on the 3rd floor and there is no lift. This wasn’t a problem for us, but families with children or those carrying heavy luggage should definitely take note. The bathroom accessories were quite basic—nothing exceptional, but manageable for a short stay. All in all, a wonderful place to stay, and we would happily recommend it with just these small considerations in mind.

This is a lovely apartment in a great location

Advertised as having aircon. However there is only one small unit in the kitchen/dining/sitting room. It took about a day to cool that area and never cooled the second bedroom. There was a small fan that isn’t very effective. The apartment was clean except for the kitchen units and drawers which need a clear out and good clean.
