The　Nomad　Inn　Gujo

Masa, the owner of the place is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet! He picked me up and dropped me off at the bus stop and made sure that I was enjoying my stay! I thought I was booking a room but turns out I got the whole house! The place was absolutely beautiful and I loved the view of the castle and river!

Nothing it was perfect!

The Inn itself is very spacious, the location is perfect, right in the center of the old town with all attractions and restaurants within walking distance. The owner was super nice and helpful (-Mr. Masa picked us up from the bus station), and we have had a late check-out. Really good!

Nothing much - just the weather could have been slightly better!

AMAZING!! The location is absolutely gorgeous, and the property is just as big as it looks in the pictures. You get the whole property to yourself, which comes with everything you need! The host, Masa, was great at communicating with us, gave us transportation advice, and gave us all the best activity & food recommendations. He had 2 bikes that we were allowed to use to explore the town which was so much fun. For the price you're paying this is a major steal!!

I personally had no problem with this, but my boyfriend who is very tall and inflexible had a hard time with the fact that there was no couch. Like a lot of traditional houses in japan, you sit on little cushions on the floor, so it was tough for him to sit criss cross applesauce all the time lol. This is not a complaint against Masa's place in particular, it was just a culture shock that my boyfriend wasn't used to, and something that you'll encounter in Japan at a lot of places.
