飛騨金山 古民家宿 恩家 -おんや-

Loved how you got your own private room with cold AC!!! The staff was very nice and accommodating. You get a futon mattress with a comforter and pillow. Towel to shower. Complimentary breakfast was included too! Overall, I loved the unique combo of a izakaya + hotel inn. Classic Japanese-style room with futon and tatami mats. You just have to be familiar with the type of loud energy in the izakaya with lots of talkative locals on the main floor. It can be intimidating if you're shy. You will be asked to join them to drink and dine with them. At first I was too tired and rested in my room for 30min, but then I thought I should be respectful and went downstairs to buy a few drinks with them.
