The hosts were very nice and friendly, the husband was able to converse well in English. Was invited to an enjoyable dinner hosted by friends of the host. The wife also introduced me to local Tokoname specialties and I'm grateful to her for that. Definitely recommend the Pottery Walk. The room has an aircon and there are drinks available for 100 yen at the fridge (self service). The location is pretty close to the train station too, and nearby local attractions and food.

Not a dislike, but rather a caution: The roof is pretty short (I'm 160cm) and there are places I have to duck or actually hit my head. Pretty typical and traditional Japanese countryside housing. There's no elevator and the room may be on the second floor with a tight staircase. And there are 2 ways to get to the house: 1) Normal route via Google Maps, will lead you to under a bridge with a red cat, there's a signage to the house, pretty steep climb 2) Go via the Tourist Information Centre up onto the road, follow signs to Tokoname Cat, go across the bridge mentioned in (1) with the red cat. The house is right across the bridge But I disliked the countryside insects, especially the mozzies. Bring insect repellent outside of autumn / winter.

古民家なので少し物音がしますが故郷の実家に帰って来て様で気になりませんでした。

We had an amazing stay from the moment we arrived – the owners greeted us with kindness and made us feel right at home. The house itself was beautiful, clean, and well-maintained, with everything we needed. In the morning, we had the opportunity to enjoy a delicious breakfast prepared by the owners – it's worth including it when choosing your rental. When they heard we wanted to explore the area, they advised us on the best route, what to see, and where to eat – adapting it to our available time. The location is also excellent – ​​Tokoname is the second station from Chubu Airport, and the guesthouse is just a short walk from the station.

老闆很好很客氣，可以通英文也很熱心，地點也很好，只是常滑地區的商店很早就休息了，大家要早點去逛逛

我們住的房間，冷氣機安裝在床鋪床頭的正上方，如果我從床上坐起來，可能會被冷氣機打到我的頭，睡覺的時候冷風直接吹著我的身體，非常不舒服，最後起來移動床鋪才好一點..... 浴室裡沒有地方可以放我的乾淨衣服和浴巾，只有一個很小的掛勾，我勉強掛著衣服，結果全部的衣服都掉在濕的浴室地板上.....
