Highlander Hostel

The furnished area felt the same level as of a hotel since it’s just located besides one.

The smell of the room freshner was quite strong and it did bother me to some extent.

It was easy to find, the check in was simple and quick. There was a lovely man who helped us for the check in

There was a used, bloody bandaid in one of the showers, someone's stuff left inside a cabinet in the room, a weird white stain in one of the bed sheets (could've been a bleach stain but we had no way of knowing) and a big noticeable ball of hair in a corner in our room🥲 We were really tired and it was late so we really just ignored it because we needed to rest and shower. The wifi didn't reach our room or the lounge area. There was a lady who seemed to be staff as she said "she didn't care about the noise but there are guests here"; she asked us a bit rudely to be a bit more quiet since it was late (which we hadn't noticed but we were quiet after that) and the following day while we were getting ready to leave she made another unnecessary snarky comment about the night before. We would have ignored the staff's attitude if everything else was okay, but the place wasn't even cleaned superficially apparently.
