Pool was warm and quiet (had it to ourselves twice), plenty of parking, comfortable house, all the necessary facilities and items (e.g. washing up liquid), and very friendly, helpful staff that were quick to help. Close to a footpath and lovely views over the fields.
Overall the house was very clean, but there were some areas that weren't as clean as I would hope, a bit dusty and some hairs (potentially fur from previous doggy guests) and one of the towels we'd been given smelt of acetone when wet.

Great location. Good beds and bedlinen. Lovely pool with view of the dales. Enclosed football field for dog walk was a bonus.
Sofa was quite tired. Carpets are quite worn. Bathroom tap squeaks loudly. Plates were dirty. Some pans need throwing away.
Sykes are a nightmare to get any sensible response from. I will avoid any sykes properties in future.

It was a lovely place once we found it! Stay on the B5055 donot go off it .very well set up , great to have swimming pool and park. Great for walking the dogs. Great value for money .
The only complaint was the sofa and arm chairs need updating for extra comfort
