Bruntmoor Cottage

Everything. Friendly owner who greeted us in a timely manner and showed us around. A lovely, spacious house off the beaten track. Well furnished with a beautiful garden. All mod cons including barbeque, plenty of crockery and cutlery as well as glasses, games and books. It suited us brilliantly. The are also has some wonderful walks, lovely towns and villages and some great pubs.

Nothing. From the greeting to the comfortable beds it was all wonderful....

I have reviewed many large properties for Booking.com over the years (booking for family and college reunions) but this is probably the best I've ever stayed in, and was certainly the best equipped. The property is wonderfully spacious with a large and well equipped kitchen, a lounge are the can easily accommodate 10 people and, more importantly, a dining table that can actually accommodate the number of people that the house can sleep. (You'd be surprised how many properties can't comfortably seat the number of guests they can sleep.) But beyond that, the house was really nicely decorated, the beds were super comfortable, the push-button showers were hot and had good water flows, the garden was lovely and there were so many thoughtful touches in the equipment and fittings. And the location (down a private track) was quiet and peaceful, yet within a short drive of Buxton and Bakewell. Perfect. I plan on going back to this one.

Very clean and comfortable. Lots of space and seating for a large party. No problem with hot water for showers either! Host very friendly and helpful.

The steps at the top of the property are potentially dangerous.

What a lovely home and wonderful hosts Everything in the home is fantastic and it is fully fully fully fully equipped. Has everything you’d need in your own home and more
