The heart of this haven is the superb 32' open-plan dining kitchen, complemented by a separate snug and a delightful sitting room featuring an Inglenook fireplace—perfect for unwinding by the open fire. Swallow Barn offers generous family self-catering holiday accommodation, with convenient proximity to a traditional country pub and a village café, both popular among walkers and cyclists. A fantastic children’s park at the pub's rear enhances the family-friendly atmosphere. The strategic location allows for easy exploration of Lathkill Dale National Nature Reserve, one of the most beautiful and renowned walks in the Peak District, accessible right from your doorstep. Additionally, the historic market town of Bakewell and the spa town of Buxton are just a short 10-minute drive away, adding to the appeal of Swallow Barn as an ideal retreat in the heart of the Peak District. This property is dog friendly and we charge £30 per dog for the duration of the stay.
