I booked this hotel an hour before check-in and the entire process was so seamless. I loved the room, the facilities, the location, the amenities, the staff and everything about it. Would definitely come back again!

Maybe it was Ramadan month so the selection of buffet breakfast a bit less variation. Room cleanliness is good. Staff were great too. Location very convenient to access nearby POI for tourist.

Breakfast - fried rice and fried kuey teow. Overall everything is okay. Walking distance to Plaza Merdeka/Parkson Shopping Mall. There is CIMB bank nearby opposite to police station., next to Shopping Mall.

Location is quite accessible, especially if you visit involves going to the BCCK.
Rooms are decent and big.
Bed and pillow (too soft/thin) might not be suitable for some people.
Setting pretty nostalgic, like even the access keys. Refer to image.
Service wise, pretty standard and polite staff.
One qualm though, rooms do not have a phone. In current day standards, that's odd. If you want any room service (no in room dining by the way), you need to change cloths, (if you are in your super sexy boxers or nightie) and go down to the lobby and make your requests. This, to me, is seemingly odd standard for a hotel that charges abt 120-130 per room.
Breakfast buffet was not fantastic. Simple dishes like noodles, fried rice, sandwiches, cereals and bread. Coffee is from a machine.
Topping up the food was slow. The staff waited untill the dish finished completely and then informed the chef to replenish. I waited for scrambled eggs for almost 15 mins. Another dish, sandwich was not replenished untill I left 35 mins later. These, in my opinion is below par of any hotel standard. But the food was not too band. It's good enough for a quick breakfast and run off to your meetings.
The GM whom we bumped into in the lobby used to work for some of the high end hotel brands so he is doing a decent job in terms of maintaining the customer service and all, but the room without a phone is odd.
Lastly, the WiFi is pretty weak and unstable. TV kept buffering and also not many options of in room entertainment.
Lift doors takes abt 4 to 5 secs to open at L1 in a slowmotion way. 😜
Overall, for a short biz stay, it's OK.
