    Originally we planned to stay for 3 nights, but we extended with another 4.... that says enough I guess. We moved from the deluxe family room to the deluxe family room without window because the one with a window was booked . It might sound dingy, a room without a window, but it felt just as nice if not nicer than the one with a window. Unfortunately, the airco made a lot of noise during the night. After reporting it the following day, it was checked by the hotel maintenance immediately. Turned out it was broken and couldn't be fixed immediately. Without asking, the receptionist proposed to move us to a deluxe double room (+ big sofabed). This room was also realy nice. All 3 rooms were clean and spacious. And the beds were the most comfortable we've had so far during our trip in Malaysia the last 3,5 weeks! Not to hard, not to soft and no annoying springs poking in your back. The location was perfect as well. Just a couple of minutes walking to Carpenter Street and the waterfront. If we ever have the pleasure of travelling to Kuching again, we would definitely stay at The Borneo Hotel again!

    I booked this hotel an hour before check-in and the entire process was so seamless. I loved the room, the facilities, the location, the amenities, the staff and everything about it. Would definitely come back again!

    Maybe it was Ramadan month so the selection of buffet breakfast a bit less variation. Room cleanliness is good. Staff were great too. Location very convenient to access nearby POI for tourist.

    Could do better with breakfast by offering eggs upon order. Sufficiently comfortable room. Hope for more pillows provided since it's quite flat. No kettle provided. I'm sensitive to smell so no fragrance is preferred.
