Great last minute find - beautiful farmhouse with charming decor, perfect location for a family trip combining peak district walks and theme park rides.
Lock key box worked really well, and was very peaceful stay.
The carpets had been mentioned by others as a bit of a tripping hazard... they are a bit annoying but this is a very minor complaint, and we moved them a bit so then no problems.
Dining room and bathrooms are carpeted too, so was a bit on edge with kids eating pasta... but there were hoovers in several rooms that could use and was fine.
Was a tiny bit hard to find the house in the dark when we first arrived, but the directions provided did work.

A real gem, lovely location, the house was immaculate and comfortable, and had everything there you could wish for.
The children enjoyed using the sports equipment, and with the weather exceptional we ate outside in the lovely dining area.
Would definitely reccomend for a break away .

Booked this place in order to go to Alton Towers. What a find! Normally properties I book don't look like the booking photos but this one is fantastic! Full of old world charm. Brilliant location. Could go for walks through the farmland at the back of the property. Also good for getting to Peak Wildlife Park (well worth a visit). Breakfast essentials provided and welcome hamper greatly appreciated! Will stay again!!
Couldn't find a colander to strain our pasta in the otherwise brilliantly equipped kitchen - but we managed :)
