I was genuinely impressed by the accommodation and felt it was very inviting and comfortable.
Upon arrival, we were welcomed with delightful chocolates and coffee sachets.
The accommodation had everything we needed, creating a homely atmosphere in a tranquil setting. It was a very secluded and peaceful place, perfect for unwinding. The shops were conveniently within walking distance, along with fishing spots and restaurants on the main road. I was reluctant to leave.

It is not often that you arrive at your destination and it delivers more than you expected. Our stay at the Owl House in Jeffrey’s Bay did exactly that.
When we travel, we have learnt to take a few extra things with us just in case. Extra towels, a portable TV, a portable stove, a cooler box with ice, extra tea and coffee, cutlery and other basics. We have become used to self catering places sometimes having very little.
That was definitely not the case at the Owl House.
The kitchen is fully kitted out with a gas stove, a proper Smeg kettle, and a full sized fridge that easily accommodated everything we bought. There is a cupboard full of towels, a TV with all the premium channels, and even water bottles that Alan kindly refilled whenever we needed.
In fact, we only left the unit once, on the day we arrived, just to stock up on groceries to fill the fridge. After that we simply enjoyed the quiet and the tranquility of the space.
Alan and Esme were wonderful hosts and made the stay even more special.
We cannot wait to be back again.

Sehr gute Lage, nur wenige 100 Meter vom Strand und von Einkaufsmöglichkeiten entfernt.
Die Unterkunft steht im Garten der Vermieter, die wahnsinnig herzlich und hilfsbereit waren. Können wir uneingeschränkt empfehlen und würden wir jederzeit wieder wählen.

Gute Lage, nahe an Einkaufsmöglichekeit und nahe Meer.
Unterkunft hatte alles was man braucht.
Nicht sehr sauber, könnte besser geputzt werden. Geschirr und andere küchenuntensilien waren dreckig. Bad war auch nicht super geputuzt.
