It was a complete private house and suitable for what we needed. Anita is a real gem as the caretaker. She told us all we needed to know and even came out on a Monday evening when we had problem with the electricity and with so much patience helping us figure out the problem, and even told us she's just a phone call away if we need assistance to anything. I would recommend this place for a family or a group of friends.

Property needs work, if you charge top dollar make sure it's in mint condition, garden needs work, pots and pans very old and rusted, fire place leeks when it rains, kitchen light not working

The service. We paid a good amount of money for the 5 nights stay, yet We were made to feel completely not at home with a strong mention of if a glass is broken needing to come out of our breakage deposit, then there was no soap, spare toilet paper or rubbish bags provided. when checking out we had to wait for every glass, bowl and pillow to be counted before receiving our breakage deposit. (even though there was no inventory list on arrival). The house also smelled mouldy/ musty.
