It's a wonderful spot for golf enthusiasts, with The Links at Brick Landing (five miles), Oyster Bay Golf Links (eight miles), Sandpiper Bay Golf & Country Club (eight miles), and other renowned courses within a short drive.
After a day spent swimming, surfing, or beachcombing, come home to sip cold drinks in the shade of the umbrella on the sun-splashed deck. Head inside to cool off in central air conditioning, get started on dinner in the well-equipped kitchen, and watch movies in a living room full of plush seating. The condo is as described. Furniture could use some upgrades as the cushions are sinking in and mattresses are lumpy.On first look place seemed pretty clean until we went to bed. When we pulled the comforters back there was black dog hair all over the sheets. I think the sheets were clean, I think the previous vacationers had a black dog whose hair was all over the comforters (or this is what I’m telling myself). Thankfully we had brought our own sheets and blankets (I couldn’t find in the description that they were provided), so I quickly changed the sheets and used our own blankets.
The water doesn’t get very hot, so showers were luke warm and I guess the washer wouldn’t drain so a service man showed up w/o us knowing to drain the washer. The previous people must have reported this and nothing was communicated. The lock on the front door was tricky…could be user error but it took us several tries every time we unlocked the door.
All in all, the condo served its purpose and we enjoyed a few days of R&R at the beach. (Just glad we had our own sheets as you can’t get in touch with anyone at Vacasa quickly).
