About this house rental
This river-front home offers spectacular views of the Paluxy River while being just a 3-minute drive from the shopping and dining of Historic Downtown Glen Rose. This unique home consists of two dwellings, featuring three bedrooms, three bathrooms and two work areas if working while on the road. Located on the second story of this unusual home, stairs are required to access the home.
The Paluxy River House is the perfect starting point to everything Glen Rose has to offer!
Upon booking, we do require a risk release form to be filled out before arrival.
NOTE, FOR LONG STAYS ONLY: For any bookings two weeks and longer, a weekly cleaning is REQUIRED at the cost of the guests. We also require vehicle description and copy of driver's license.
PET POLICY (does not apply to service animals): dogs under 20lb, max 2, pets must be approved by host. Pet fee applies!

This was a wonderful house for our family weekend. So many small but thoughtful touches that made our trip special. The house is so close to town and all the wonderful shops and restaurants. This home is a gem and we are looking forward to coming back.

My two lifelong friends from college and I take a reunion trip once a year, and this year we picked The Paluxy River House and Glen Rose to visit. Two of us were architects and one an engineer, and we found the entire property - site, plan layout, and all living accommodations very well thought out. The gem of the place to us were the porches overlooking the river. We spent many hours there laughing and catching up. The house is very well stocked, maintained and clean. When we got to town from Dallas, we went grocery shopping at Brookshire’s before going to the house, adding coffee, creamer and sweeteners to our food list. We really didn’t need to, as K-Cups and the rest was plentifully furnished, along with a nice note and gift box of delicious pastries! We agreed as a group this has been the best house we have visited in all our annual reunions. My wife and I are now discussing which two other couples we might ask to go again in the future! BTW, we loved the historic photos, the original artwork, and the dinosaur hunt pieces. Thanks for making this year so memorable, congratulations on the great house!
