Un bel appartamento grande e molto luminoso in una zona comoda e ben servita.

E’ un alloggio per 2 / 3 persone, oltre alla camera matrimoniale non ci sono altri letti “veri” dove poter dormire comodamente. Nello studio dove c’è una poltrona letto non c’è nemmeno una tenda oscurante e inoltre ci siamo dovuti adattare facendo dormire una 4ª persona su un semplicissimo divano in sala che non era un divano letto.!!!

The apartment (the bedroom) faces Abai Street, and even on the 14th floor, it is too noisy and dusty to sleep with open windows. There isn't much in these particular few blocks of Almaty, so the location is not as good as I had hoped it would be. The apartment is spacious and full of sunlight--quite comfortable and enjoyable or one person. There is a nail salon and a Thai Spa place in the housing complex--both were a pleasant addition. The furnishings are not as pretty as they look on photos but still quite good and enough for a comfortable living experience. The bi-weekly cleaning service was an excellent bonus. There are enough sheets, towels and two washing machines in the apartment. Washing the happenings on the soccer field framed by the views of the mountains from the kitchen windows and the balcony was the best part of my stay!

The kitchen is not well equipped. There are plates, a stock pot, and glasses, everything else is sparse, old, or not functional. I had to buy my own frying pan, knife, and a cutting board--the ones available were not usable. The shower was hard to control (I think partly because the apartment is on the 14th floor, and there are problems with water pressure). Shower heads probably need to be changed. The bed was a bit too hard for my needs but I have adjusted and slept fine; the pillows are not great. In general, everything in the apartment is pretty basic, do not expect a luxurious stay.
