Would pick this hotel again

Second time we have stayed in this hotel and the staff are always brilliant. It smells wonderful and has always been clean.

We arrived later than planned and have a 6 year old. We would have liked to just eat at the hotel and have an early night. But the restaurant menu wasn’t too our liking. I’m sure it was good as the breakfast has always been great, it just wasn’t for us.

Liverpool football lads trip, very disappointing

Location. Staff. Quality of hotel

I booked 2 x queen rooms for 4 x people (i.e. each person their own bed - father and son in 2 rooms). Marriot was £120 / room these were over £200/room. Upon check in I was told I'd only booked 1 room with 2 queen beds for over £400/night. I was told this was a more expensive room, despite being te same size I was told it was because there was a balcony and breakfast was not included. Breakfast was quoted at £64 for the 4 of us. Not sure how this happened, I've used booking.com for many years, don't understand how one small room with 2 beds squeezed in can cost so much. Later that evening when I complained again they got me 2 x double rooms for the same price which was better but not ideal for the same price. At breakfast there was one slow chef perparing breakfast, many unhappy guests waiting an hour to be served. So overall not a great experience and won't be back.

Excellent location, staff and amenities.

It was a perfect location close to all the shops and restaurants. Loved everything about it really!! Great staff, excellent restaurant.

It was only that put bed was a bit small. I asked for a very large bed as I was staying with my 83 year old mum and they don’t offer twin beds. We had other pals staying and their bed was huge, a king size I think. Before staying I had called to ask for a very large bed and was assured our deluxe queen was. But it wasn’t big enough for us. Pillows were not great too. Though I am quite fussy about them. I’m still going to stay here again but would make sure I get the king size!

Fabulous hotel in the lively Ropewalks district!

Great location, hotel was fantastic, it was clean & smelt amazing. Wonderful welcome by front of house staff. The bar & restaurant staff were friendly & attentive, the breakfast was delicious!

Superb hotel in perfect location with great attentive staff.

All round wonderful. Location superb. Parking nearby at Q Park on Hanover Street was really easy especially good to receive the 20% Halyard Discount. Room was clean and well appointed, the view from the 7 floor balcony was breathtaking.

Breakfast was delicious and plentiful however we did have to wait a while for it to arrive. Not sure others did so assume it was just a glitch in an otherwise perfect system.

Nice modern clean. Location right in the city centre not far from lime street train station 😊 Food was gorgeous in the restaurant.

Only thing but nothing major the shampoo pump didn’t work but that’s just a minor really enjoyed our stay.

Lovely friendly clean and smart hotel

The staff were all very friendly from front of desk to waiting staff. The rooms were comfortable, good shower and designer attention to detail. The general ambience of the hotel was lovely.

The breakfast was ok just everything needed to be fresher but the restaurant area and friendliness of staff couldn't have been better and I would use it again.

A really great room lots of small touches which made it exceptional... Real milk in fridge, coffee maker, lovely toiletries, free soft drinks in fridge. Bed extremely comfortable had the best night's sleep in a long time. Staff friendly and helpful and a delicious breakfast. All in all it exceeded expectations.

The gentleman greeting us on arrival to help with doors, bags and lifts was delightful. Room layout was pleasingly contemporary Breakfast buffet and service was very good

Stylish and well located with friendly staff… We will be back!

Staff were excellent! Very friendly and engaging… Couldn’t do enough for us. The room was very stylish and well appointed. On a practical level, plenty of mirrors and sockets (usb too) They have tried to be eco friendly where possible, keeping plastic and disposable items to a minimum.

Great location, lovely hotel

Great location near all the shops, bars and restaurants. Room was super clean, hotel decor really nice and fresh, everywhere smelt amazing with all the temple spa reed diffusers!

We arrived early to drop our bags off, when we came to check in we had to take our own bags up. For the price of the hotel I would have expected the bags to be in the room. It said complimentary drinks in mini bar, we had 2 cans of water which again for the price of the hotel I would expect a drink of water to be supplied, not much of a perk.
