The back garden has seating for everything from alfresco meals to reading in the egg chairs. Though it's a little further from the sights – walk to the Colosseum in fifty minutes or take public transport in less time – the distance makes it more peaceful. Still, you can get to all of Rome's best bits. But be aware that if you're walking, the hill back up to the house might not be kind to tired legs. Home truths: *At full occupancy, two guests will be sleeping on the sofa bed in the living area. *It's worth noting that the mattresses here are on the firmer side, so not everyone will find them comfortable. *If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair for free. You'll need to request them in advance. *There are stairs to climb here. *Hen and stag parties are strictly not allowed at this home. *If you want to stock up on essentials during your stay, you'll find the closest supermarket minutes away.
