Clover Cottage countryside retreat with sea views

Location and facilities all perfect / enjoyed the week very much and hope to return.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like

Everything! The cottage was spotlessly clean, well decorated and so very comfortable. Everything you need is available with a washing machine ideal for longer stays. The host Cath, left a beautiful welcome basket, delicious fresh strawberries and a bouquet of fresh flowers. So wonderful to find upon our arrival. Cath and her family were so helpful and friendly and we had many a conversation with Cath about her gorgeous Highland cows which we could see and interact with daily in the field in front of the cottage. It did make our stay so very special to see their interaction. (I love animals 😀) The view of the sea was magnificent and Patch the cat was a joy to have around. I could happily spend the rest of my life in that cottage and we were VERY sad to leave.

Absolutely nothing

Location was excellent with sea views from most rooms and easy access to the coastal path. The cottage was very clean and spacious, well decorated and furnished.

The double bedroom needs a chest of drawers to replace the desk/table and the person sleeping there felt that the mattress needed to be replaced. A larger fridge would be better and a pair of scissors and measuring jug would have been helpful.

Cute, quiet and comfortable two bedroom cottage overlooking fields to the sea. Great kitchen set up with washing machine, and parking on site. Easy stay for short or long period. We especially loved the highland cows in the front paddock.

The only shortfall for us was the stairs which were a little steep for lugging big bags up to the bedrooms. - so we just left them downstairs and took our small ones up.
