A lovely relaxing and adventurous weekend break. Just what we needed

Everything! We loved the beautiful, spacious, design and decorations of the cottage. The beds were the comfiest we have ever slept in and the showers were lovely and modern. The fireplace was so cosy and lovely and the the location is second to none.

Cosy cottage in a great location

Perfect, quiet location close to village centre and harbour. Tastefully furnished and decorated. Comfy beds and pillows. Host left a box of mince pies & festive tortilla chips as welcome gift. Tea, coffee, cleaning supplies, hand soap, tin foil, cling film etc. supplied. Friendly, helpful host who answered messages extremely quickly.

Upstairs mezzanine bedroom better suited for young children. As adults, we kept banging our heads and found it difficult to access the storage drawers as you had to crouch down. Mezzanine bedroom looks onto high window sill in lounge that was full of dead flies. Being picky, given the plentiful supply of other items, spare toilet roll would be welcome as we only had half a roll in each bathroom. Personally felt it was a little over priced but it is a beautiful, cosy cottage.

Beautiful modern cottage in a great location with its own private garden to enjoy the east coast weather

Beautiful cottage in a lovely location in Pittenweem, place was immaculate and communication with host was spot on 👍 loved our time there and enjoyed having the privacy of a wee garden too. A great base to visit all the local places and St Andrews is only a thirty minute drive away.

A lovely, relaxing stay in a cosy, beautiful cottage. Would come again!

It is a beautiful cottage, easy to navigate with comfortable beds and a lovely living room. All sorts of touches make it homely, including films and a scrabble set . The shower in the main bathroom is powerful and the space is spacious . There’s a small front and back garden too. It’s artistically pleasing to the eye- and not at all cluttered.

There were no toiletries, the hand wash was nearly empty and no toilet rolls. No milk in the fridge and nothing by way of welcome.

Everything, and I mean everything you could ask for! Garden was a real sun trap, Pittenween is great, lots to see, amazing weather and we had a brilliant relaxing time 💕

Amazing cottage

The cottage itself is gorgeous, fantastic location just off the village high street. Everything we needed, lovely modern decor, very cosy. Private enclosed garden a nice bonus & perfect if you have a dog

No complaints. I suppose ideally we would have preferred a bath in one of the bathrooms

Pittenweem Gem! Book ahead and enjoy!

We loved the cottage design and layout. The modern coastal vibe was carried out in beautiful way. I especially enjoyed the enclosed garden off the bedroom area. The beds and furniture were comfy and so many pretty details in space. We loved walking up and down the “ winds” to get acquainted with area. Hope to return and explore this historic area again!

Relaxing coastal stay

The property was very comfortable, modern, and well equipped. There is also a lovely garden that's a bit of a sun trap. The property is ideally located in the village, close to the shop, cafes, pub and restaurants. The tidal pool is a 10 minute walk from the property. Anstruther or St Monans a short drive, or a nice walk on the coastal path.

It was all great tbh but the parking was a bit unclear but able to park in the side lane, or out front if lucky enough to get a space.

A beautiful cottage in the lovely village of Pittenweem

A really lovely cottage in the very pretty village of Pittenweem. Great location, a few minutes walk to the harbour and the seafront. Pittenweem has everything you need for a short stay, two or three places to eat, a couple of lovely cafés and the village hub (local shop, post office and pharmacy). The cottage itself is beautifully decorated and very well equipped. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a lovely garden which we very much appreciated as we were exceedingly lucky with the weather. We were able to park outside and Jo was a very helpful host. A great base for exploring the lovely East Neuk

Perfect cottage in perfect spot to explore the East Neuk.

The cottage is so much more beyond that front door. Lovely light and bright. Very tastefully decorated with very comfortable extension with direct access to garden area. Love the colour of the kitchen units.

I wasn’t so keen on the openness of the chimney area from the wood burner.

Exceptional

I cannot thank Jo and her team enough for a truly beautiful cottage. The location is fantastic, the cottage is finished to a very high standard. The thought that has gone into it is simply perfection. I loved the lighting ✨️ beautiful natural light throughout at different times of the day. We would love to stay again in the near future and possibly in the summer to really enjoy the beautiful private garden.

I couldn't really say we didn't like anything. Keep up the great work!

We had the peaceful break we were looking for and will definitely be back, it’s a beautiful cottage.

The cottage was a perfect base for us and our Manchester Terrier, everything was spotless and there was plenty of space too. Jo is a wonderful host and nothing was too much trouble for her. Location-wise it’s a hidden gem, very quietly situated and just a couple of minutes walk downhill to the harbour.

I was surprised that there were no instructions, eg for setting the heating, the electric hob, washing up machine. OK, one can work these things out, but... . As a very experienced wood burning stove operator (40 years +), I was unable to get the fire going.
