Ideal location and reasonably well equipped property.
There is no provision for external bins as noted in previous reviews. This was quite an inconvenience for a family of five. When we queried this with the Property Management Company (Premier Stays Fife) they advised that we ‘use the bins provided’ and then were vague about their whereabouts. Eventually, after several days back and forth, they conceded that there were none. As the old saying goes; don’t piss down my back and tell me it’s rain.

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE,HORRIBLE.
Everything I have over a 100 photos to proof how awful the accommodation was! Very run down , smelly, twin beds only had 6 inch thick foam under the sheet. Decor chipped & marked , carpets dirty, Floorboards disgusting. seating uncomfortable , covered over with thick throws, kettle didn't work & the didn't replace it when aske to. Storage full of stuff tins of paint etc. Utility room crammed full of junk. I would never recommend or stay in the place again totally spoilt our holiday as we didn't want to return to it each evening. PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT TAKING OUT OF YOUR PORTFOLIO!

Location is great
The lower bedroom had a mouldy smell living room furniture uncomfortable very expensive for what you get. Welcome pack consisted of 1 sachet of coffee some milk sachets and sugar and a couple of teabags stair carpets were a bit grotty wooden floors need repair no washing up liquid

Over all satisfactory but have stayed in far nicer properties inside for the price .
Well equipped kitchen and spotlessly clean and central location . Beds on upper floors comfy and lovely views from windows .
Due to it being an older property the inside stairs were steep and un even, the bed on the ground floor was noisey and not very comfortable, and lots of noise on the street from pub next door which we already knew, but it did seem to be a chatting spot for some well past 2 am right at our window/front door, dont think they realised it was occupied, front door could use some paint . House inside was tired and patched paintwork , odd jobs needed done and some decent sofas breakfast table and chairs would not go a miss for price paid

Disappointing and uncomfortable
Location was ok Kitchen well equipped
Very uncomfortable and cheap, unsupportive mattresses. We moved ours onto the floor which improved it, but the others couldn’t do this. No ventilation in bathroom and mould No carpet in bedroom Not enough plates There TV screens in 2 bedrooms, one was dvd only the other not connected at all Poor lighting Radiator not working in one bedroom and portable radiator left to replace it also not working

A good stay for the family. We would stay again if visiting and Anstruther.
A great location. Very clean and comfortable house.
The queen beds are a little uncomfortable and the bedframe needs tightened as it squeaks each time you or your partner moves. This made for a few sleepless nights because of the noise. More toilet paper would be appreciated. Only one roll in each toilet and no spare.
