We stayed on the very top floor. I believe is the premium room with outdoor terrace and mountain view. We arrived a bit late around 9pm, and enjoyed our dinner on the terrace just outside. The view is beautiful and surrounding is very peaceful. Owners are very nice and welcome as well. We truly felt at home. The room is very nicely decorated and it feels very cozy. We stayed two nights and loved every minute of it. It was very convenient to go kayaking nearby or to another village to enjoy dinner or have a hike to the nearby castle. Very nice and peaceful stay. The swimming pool with a view looks awesome as well, but we didn’t have time to enjoy it.
Owners’ cats are extremely cute. Sometimes they hung out with us on the terrace.
Owner was very accommodating and added eggs for us for breakfast.
Owner makes us truly feel welcomed. We had a lot of nice conversations. This is the difference between staying at a hotel or a chambre d’hôte in France.
Note that parking onsite is not possible, but we could find street parking during two days there without issues.
Also, it’s mentioned in the description that this place is not suitable for people with reduced mobility because there are a lot of stairs. Just something to keep in mind.
In our room, there was only a curtain for the bathroom and toilet. It was a bit awkward to use the toilet while another person is in the room since it’s not sound proof. One person would have had to go chill on the terrace while the other does his/her business. Tried to put the TV on to mask the noise, but TV’s signal wasn’t too stable.

Je ne voudrais pas que mon avis paraisse car nous ne sommes pas restés séjourner dans l’établissement
En effet , mon mari ne s’est pas senti bien , et stressé dès son arrivée
Les propriétaires ne sont pas responsables , mais c’est juste la localisation à l’apic de la montagne juste derrière qu’il n’a pas pu gérer
Nous avons dû trouver un autre hôtel pour les trois nuits , ce que j’ai fait avec Booking.com
Vous pouvez le voir par vous même . Nous avons résidé a l’Auberge de Cadenas sans aucun autre souci
Sa localisation en bordure de route a l’avant et à l’apic de la montagne derrière
