We really loved the convenient location to walk to restaurants, the canal and main attractions. The house felt really comfortable and the Airconditioner and fan were a plus during the hot weather. The kitchen was cute (loved the red), well stocked and had gorgeous crockery and glasses in the cabinet. We really appreciated having a washing machine and rack. We felt super welcomed by our host who made us feel right at home. Instructions and pictures to find the property made it extremely simple. We slept so well every night and enjoyed exploring beautiful Venice. We also are very thankful for being able to leave our bags on the property at checkout so we could continue to explore.

We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend these apartments. First of all, the location is very convenient. The apartment is situated in a quiet area without crowds of tourists, yet all the main attractions are within a 15-20 minute walk. There are also several grocery stores nearby: a small DESPAR Express just 3 minutes away, a Coop within 10-15 minutes, and a larger DESPAR about 15-20 minutes away where you can even find good ready-made meals. There are also plenty of cafes and restaurants within walking distance, and Cristina kindly recommended some nice places. Getting to the apartment was also quite easy. Cristina provided very clear and helpful instructions, which we followed without any issues. We arrived from Santa Lucia train station, took Vaporetto line 1 (around 15 minutes), and then walked for about 10 minutes. If you have luggage or a stroller, keep in mind there is one small bridge with steps on the way - not a big problem, but worth noting. The apartment itself is well-equipped with everything you might need, including kitchenware for cooking. The bed was comfortable, everything was clean, and there was always hot water (gas heater). We also really appreciated Cristina’s hospitality - she was responsive, provided clear guidance, and made the whole stay smooth and easy. Overall, a great experience - comfortable, well-located, and with a very helpful host.

A few things to keep in mind (not really downsides, but typical for Venice): most buildings are quite old, so there can be some humidity and cooler indoor temperatures, including cold floors (there are carpets, but we preferred using slippers). Also, sound insulation is limited — you can hear street noise during the day, although the area itself is relatively quiet and nights were peaceful. Another thing to consider is accessibility. Like most places in Venice, getting around involves bridges with steps, and the apartment itself is on the second floor without an elevator, so you’ll need to carry luggage upstairs. This might be important for elderly travelers or those with mobility issues.

1. The location is great for sure. It’s close to all the necessary connections, bars, restaurants etc, and located on a calm and a silent street (that’s an advantage, trust me!) 2. There were tea and coffee inside, and different great things like oil, spices etc. Great when you want to eat at home 3. The host is also great and was helpful in communicating 4. Great that there was the iron. Not a fan of wrinkled clothes so thanks!! 😅

The apartment is pretty dark but it seems that it’s a local thing)) Also, the sockets are kinda weird. It was hard to find the appropriate plug to use a coffee maker, or a fan. But it also must be just a local thing
