This was my family's first time going to Fort Gibson Lake. We chose this location specifically because there is a private boat dock which is hard to come by with a vacation rental.The host was very responsive to my questions about the area.The location is very beautiful and the accomodations were as described in the listing. The grounds are very quiet and we saw lots of deer.I would say one downside is that it is located on a hill going up from the lake at a pretty steep slope, so going back up from the dock with everything from the days boat excursion was rather difficult. We also had some trouble getting our trailer out of the drive as there was not much room to turn around without backing in at sharp angles. We put the boat in the water and picked it up at the campground across the lake, otherwise I don't think we could have managed it between the winding road there and the driveway.We were out on our boat most of the time during our three night stay, but enjoyed the space while we were there. We prepared most of our meals there and although there was no stove or oven the additional appliances like the crockpot, hot plate, and air fryer and the propane grill outside it worked out for my group of 4. This house sleeps 10 though so if it were more people it might be a bit difficult to prepare meals at max capacity. A washer and dryer would have made the stay even better but not a deal breaker. The beds were pretty comfy.Overall we enjoyed our stay and plan to visit again!

This was a great place to stay. Our family enjoyed every minute of our stay. Kayaking and fishing was our main thing to do. We loved it and would stay there again. A washer and dryer and a stove would make a great addition.
