About this cottage rental
Peaceful, cul-de-sac. Beautiful open concept kitchen/living room. King master bedroom, second queen bedroom. Cozy up to the fireplace in the winter or enjoy the concrete patio with gas fire-pit in the summer! Like warm towels...enjoy the heated towel rack and the in floor heating. Frameless tv's in kitchen/living room. Smart tv's in bedrooms.
Gorgeous, quiet street right in the heart of town. Sit on the private deck outside the kitchen patio doors to the backyard and enjoy your morning coffee. Take a stroll or bike ride on the greenway just around the corner. Walk to town and enjoy a gourmet meal, world class chocolatier, local baked goods, coffee shops or some boutique shopping. Purchase some farm raised meat for the Bbq from the local butcher.
Check out the many area wineries, (special collaborations with Coopers hawk, Vivace & Sprucewood) on your own or with GrapeVine Tours, whom we have set up a special deal with for our guests. Essex county has some of the best vineyards in the world!
Spend some time at Lakeside park or walk a little further to the working harbour where you may spot some American white Pelicans in the summer. You can also book a ferry over to Pelee Island for the day, hop on at the Kingsville terminal(Aug - Dec) a 2 minute drive from your home away from home. Further to the East (about 20 minute drive) you will find Point Pelee National Park and many other conservation areas.
Pamper yourselves at 'Estate of Health' day spa, couples massage maybe? - a 5 minute walk.
Take in a golf game at one of the nearby courses, 9 or 18 holes.
