It was lovely to wake up to the view of the lake every morning and sit outside with a coffee while listening to the waves gently slapping the small beach. Relaxing outside in the evening was very nice too and we spent a lot of quality time together while eating meals made in the fully equipped kitchen, as well as watching movies.
There’s a variety of free streaming services through the Roku device in the living room and a huge assortment of DVDs as well so plenty of entertainment options to choose from. The beds were comfy and the open concept of the kitchen, living room and dining area allowed for us to not all be in the same room but still feel connected at the same time.
We wanted to go to Pelee Island but didn’t realize that the tickets sell out so fast so make sure to book ahead of time if that’s on the agenda. We visited Point Pelee instead which had a lot of outdoor activities and managed to fill a whole day just exploring.

Easy to get to and access. Stayed with my wife and two teenagers. Great location with beautiful views out over the beach onto the lake. The DVDs of old movies were a nice touch. The cottage is fully equipped and clean, didn't feel like we were missing anything. Location is great, easy to drive to wineries and restaurants.
Would definitely recommend.
Minor things. There is a smoke alarm in the on-suite washroom (presumably because the furnace is in that room too) which goes off when you take a shower.
The third bed is just separated from the rest of the cottage by curtains, which is fine, except not all the windows around that bed have curtains.

The place is very laid back, comfortable, it has an amazing private little beach on lake eerie. It’s very close to everything, the neighbours are lovely. The house is well kept and had everything we needed. Very chill beach house.
There’s nothing I disliked. It’s a nice little get away for a family.
