From this prime waterfront location, is a scenic 30 min the gates of Point Pelee National Park, a bird and butterfly sanctuary, home of the annual Festival of Birds, with campgrounds, nature trails, and 20 km of sandy beach to take a refreshing swim or to build sandcastles at the southernmost point of mainland Canada. You can reach the National Park on a short walk down picturesque Point Pelee Drive or a casual stroll along the sandy beach from the Lakehouse.
