The proximity to one of the best dive spots in Zanzibar made this a brilliant getaway spot.
The staff were eager to provide the best possible services. Our compliments to Elizabeth and staff for the eagerness to make our stay the best one.
The scooter rental ($12/day) was great to get around to the beach, curio shops, or restaurant. The free bikes were a great alternative.
The free WiFi was very useful.
The pool area was clean and great to lounge at.
The daily breakfast was fresh and very tasty.
The hotel is located a 15 min walk from the beach and not as close as depicted in the pictures.
The cash-only approach means a trip to the ATM, which is 13km away, and a TZS50K ($18) private taxi ride.
There was no coffee, tea, sugar, or milk in the unit. They did, however, provide a large bottle of water.
There is construction on the site, which can be noisy but not intrusive during the day.
In the kitchen, the pots, pans and cutlery are rusty and not to the standard of this beautiful apartment.
