Tony, the multi-talented manager, is who makes this property shine. He is quick to fix things, cook your meal, and will go out of his way to assist with anything you need. The cleaning and other staff are also very good. There is the possibility for cooking meals there, but I would recommend trying Tony’s meals instead. I enjoyed the location & the walk to the beach; I see it as an opportunity to chat with ppl on the way and buy some fruit or fresh coconut water from Credo’s fruit stand just before arriving at the beach. He is a kind young man that won’t try to gauge you like vendors at the beach.

Electricity can occasionally be spotty but this is not hotel-specific, rather an island problem. The dogs are great, but untrained. They will jump on you in happiness if you get too friendly with them and sometimes barking may interrupt your sleep. Some may consider the facilities subpar but they are typical for the region. Some people may not like the 10-15 min walk to the beach.

Super kind and professional manager Sele! He is really helpful and was always there for our questions and requests. Apartment is a really huge compared to Zanzibar standard hotel rooms, fully equipped and well designed. Located in 15 minutes walking from the ocean, but for this price this is a great option.
