Lovely place if you don't need hot water or heating and like an uncared for environment
The sea view is exceptional and the flat is right on the prom.
The boiler for the hot water and heating didn't function for 2 days. Even after the owner had it looked at there was no hot water on the third day. The owner did not apologise during our stay and refused to give a refund. (See more details below)
The stairs are very narrow and steep and difficult to negotiate with a suitcase. Also they lack a handrail in a crucial place.
The entrance hallway was sordid and had crates of dirty laundry. It flooded after rain and the door mat was a soggy barrier to get across.
(Almost every other review mentions this problem but the owner has yet to rectify it.)
The bathroom door handles were falling off, likewise the bedroom window handle.
The bath towels provided were minimum size.
The front door lock was so difficult that I couldn't manage to unlock it. (This was mentioned in a previous review).
The toilet seat needs adjusting (as mentioned in a previous review).
The curtain holders were loose.
The bathroom door frame was mouldy.
The bathroom towel rail gets dangerously hot.
The other radiators get progressively cooler further from the boiler until the one in the kitchen area barely gets warm.
(I mentioned to the owner that the radiators need balancing but she has not replied).
Finally to finish about the boiler, when we explained the problems to the owner, she claimed that it was a new boiler, although it is clearly rusty and the programmer has been painted over!

Perfect location, great views, cheap & cheerful, needs a few minor improvements
Location excellent, communication with hosts were great, views from the apartment overlooking the bay, nice little apartment, didn’t hear anyone else whilst there
The smell of damp as you walk through the door into the hall, think the bins must have a huge impact on this… the front door lock / key just about went in, unbelievably stiff to get the key in & out. Was just about to call the owner as none of the keys would open the front door until i shoved it in tight! Definitely a new front door barrel & set of keys is number one on the list, hand soap in the bathroom would of been nice & maybe a couple of sachets of milk to go with the tea bags & coffee supplied… tv didn’t seem to have normal channels on, also Staines on the extra bedding, which needs replacing….only few minor changes needed, but enjoyed my stay

It was in a ideal location and any issues was resolved quickly and the agent was available to answer any queries. It's not far from the train station.
I noticed the light above the main entrance was not working and it can cause a problem when it's dark .

We were very impressed with the property and especially loved the prime location right next to the beach. Being in a lively area was exactly what we wanted, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The property itself was excellent, but we suggest cleaning the entrance area to improve the first impression for guests.

Appears nice and clean but the smell in the hall spoils the stay as soon as you arrive.
It was nice to have a flat to yourself and a central location.
The smell when you come into the entrance was overbearing. It smelt like bins but the bins were empty.
The smell did come through to the bedroom too.
Having stayed in lots of places, the basics of toilet roll, (there was 3 sheets left and we then had to buy some) and little things like shampoo/ conditioner make it feel more like a guest place but there was a bar of soap and half a bottle of used shower gel.
The frying pan was all burnt along with the spatula.
Also to be charged £40 for cleaning when the flat wasn't that clean - under the settee the mirrors and coffee table was something I've not had to pay before through booking.com

Good sized appartment right on the beach.
Picking up the keys was easy with the keyboxes .... although the front door keys were only in the downstairs box which isn't quite what it says on the instructions. Position is great and it was nice to have a kitchen
Stairs are a bit narrow if you have a medium sized bag. There was no bin in the kitchen (I think from the description there should have been). TV channels didn't really connect whilst I was there.

Modern, clean, safe and family friendly apartment in an excellent location
This was our first trip to Morecambe and we loved it. I don't think you could find a better location! It was within walking distance to everything. The balcony doors gave you a beautiful view of the sea so you could see the sunrise and sunset everyday which was beautiful over the bay! ❤️ There were shops, restaurants, arcades, takeaways and pubs nearby and a little park literally over the road. If you walked a bit further, you could get to ALDI supermarket, as well as the market (which was open regularly and ridiculously cheap), a cinema (which was also really cheap if you went in the morning) and a crab pool. Slightly further away was a gigantic park (I think it was called Happy Mount) which had a few rides, trampolines, a play park, an ice cream van and a cafe. By train, you could get to Lancaster and Blackpool. The shops in Morecambe had everything you could possibly need whilst on holiday. The apartment itself was safe and secure and I felt happy taking my children there. There were lock boxes with codes for the keys and security cameras all over the entrance. Windows and doors were secure. It was clean, tidy and really modern. Some seaside apartments can be a bit dated but this was stunning! The shower was hot and there were plenty of soft towels and clean bedding. We had lots of storage in the kitchen and it was well equipped. There were lots of apps on the T.V. We were sent a useful information guide just before we arrived which was a nice touch. It is a very clean area and you could regularly see council workers cleaning the streets and emptying the bins (first thing in the morning until last thing at night). The people in the area were very friendly and we had some great meals. In total, there were three parks along the coastline, within walking distance, and a small splash pad. If you're looking for a family friendly place to stay then I cannot recommend this place enough.

Fantastic apartment situated in an ideal spot with everything close to hand. Everything you need for your stay in the apartment is at hand. Host contacted us a few times making sure we were happy.

Family Weekend Away 😊
The apartment was lovely. Great location opposite the beach. Easy to find & check in with keybox not a host to greet us. Great facilities, comfy superking bed & sofa bed. All kitchen facilities etc. Also a power shower. Everything you could ask for really so will definitely go back !
Unfortunately we couldn't check in until after 3pm & checkout at 10am which is early ! The apartment was clean not to high standards though when a £50 cleaning fee is stated on booking confirmation. The oven grillpan & rack had been left dirty. Fridge & microwave not wiped out after use. Dirty smelly tea towel & sponge left out & crumbs over worktop. So we chose to eat out adding more cost to the weekend away. Seagull poo all over the balcony area & windows which didn't look very nice.

Great location and lovely flat
Great central location, close to bars, etc. Perfect for the sea front and the view from the apartment (flat 1) was exceptional!
The only issue was the smell as you enter the property (probably caused by the bins / recycling area). However the flats are upstairs, away from this and there is a door at the bottom of the stairs so you can close this. It's not horrendous but it's the only issue I can think of!

Good location but could use a good cleaning
The unit was in a prime location on the waterfront with excellent views. There was everything we needed for our stay, and the bed was comfortable. When we arrived it was very warm and the host kindly sent over a fan which we really appreciated
The awful smell when you walk in the building permeates throughout the building. The unit was not clean, we washed everything before using and were really disappointed with that. It was not that it was only missing a deep clean but just a basic clean. For example there were placemats on the table but they had not been moved and under them it was dirty. There was an old cigarette but in the shag carpet. The windows at the front was notable to open but the others worked well.

the apartment is beautiful, tastefully decorated, plenty of room. sea views from lovely big windows.
close to all amenities. decent size tv plenty to watch but no terrestrial channels . lovely big comfortable bed. great wifi. well equipped kitchen including air fryer.
unfortunately for all the good there is more not to like, starting with the key box, could be us but we struggled to get in open and then also struggled to get door open when we eventually got the key out. the box outside the flat was a lot easier.the stench in the hall way was dreadful and got worse as the temperature got higher. like others we struggled with the stairs, steep and narrow barely room for a suitcase.
once inside we could not open some of the windows especially the bedroom, menopausal and hot weather made for little sleep. i did text the number given to ask was there a knack to open said windows but didn't get a reply.
sofa uncomfortable and the glass on the coffee table is unfixed, dangerous if children are running round. cutlery handles came off when using so a spoon head would fall in the brew and inside the handle is filthy.
the smell from the hallway started to seep under the door as the temperature rose.
spring loaded doors caused a few injuries if we didn't get out of the way quick enough, again not the best for young children.
would have felt easier with a fire escape, if a fire started in the stairwell it is the only route out. however we clocked fire extinguishers on each floor which we familiarised ourselves with the instructions.

Location is great,View across the Bay is wonderful, Good Shower, Bed comfortable, Kitchen Units and Appliances look New,living area comfortable enough
No information about Flat or Locale available in the apartment, A gap in the front window frame (and it was a very windy week of weather) ,No Terrestrial TV or Radio available only digital media some of which were subscribers and the Remote Control stopped working, The cutlery, particularly the spoons were loose and stained, Not even a Tea towel in kitchen.
The bedroom door is a hazard nearly had my fingers off on a few occasions. The wardrobe was 2 thirds full with duvets
The shower cabinet leeked and a leek from the washhand basin.
Please be aware that the stairs are very steep and narrow, ( I am of a medium sized build but still bumped into the handrail three times ( bruises to show )

Wonderful
The location is superb, as is the apartment itself. The host, Anuja, is excellent with communication and with resolving any issues. She is keen to make sure that your stay is perfect. I had some minor housekeeping issues which I did not communicate until afterwards (as I was only there for a short stay), but if I had communicated on arrival, Anuja would have addressed. They did not affect the fact that I had a wonderful, comfortable stay. Thank you very much Anuja for your attentive hosting.

Nice stay at the seacoast
The location is very nice! A lot of pubs, restaurants are in the area. The seacoast is very close. The view from the apartment is awesome! The host, Anuja, responds and fixes any issues very quickly. The apartment has everything needed for every day life.
Since the flat is on the top floor it has small windows and there is not much natural light. Also you always hear pigeons hanging out on the roof (especially on the morning)
