Illegal intimidation

The landlord/owner engages in illegal intimidation. Inside the apartment there is a note saying that 950 euros will be taken directly from the client's bank account without permission if they bring unauthorised guests. This is a threat of theft, since only the government and justice system are legally empowered to impose fines and not even they can directly take it from someone's bank account. Furthermore there is no mention whatsoever of the amount of 950 euros on Booking, and certainly not an explicit agreement with this by the client before they book and pay. I told them I respected all house rules myself but asked them politely to remove this illegal message and they refused, so that I had to escalate the complaint. Avoid, and look for accomodation with legal, respectful and non-intimidating owners instead.

Hosts were frustratingly slow to respond. Okay place for the price/location

Good location

Property manager was very unresponsive. The wifi didn't work at the apartment so I tried to reach out to them to see if something could be done. When I picked up the keys, they said to call/text their WhatsApp number, but it was a business number that didn't accept phone calls and they didn't respond at all to texts. I messaged them via booking.com but even then they were slow to respond and never ended up sending anyone to help.

It is an amazing location - very close to all the hotspots. The apartment has everything you need for a short stay :)

There was no place to dry the towels, the wifi didn't work at all (we stayed on the last floor) and some of the dishes and cutlery were dirty in the kitchen.

A bad stay

Everything I needed was there.

The cleaning was not thorough. Some areas were dirty, with food crumbs and even pigeon feathers scattered on the floor. Dust remained in the corners of the room. The curtains were torn, and the bath towel had stains. The trash can handle and the hand soap dispenser were so dirty that I didn’t want to touch them. The bed sheets and pillowcases were wrinkled. While all the necessary items were provided, I can't help but feel that the cleaning service should be changed. Honestly, in its current state, I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

Excellent location, good price quality

Excellent location and clean. The bathroom could use a repainting and cleaning of the dome. The only minor point was the airco/heat didn't work. Luckily there was a small electric heater to heat up the place. Overall good price quality.

Very nice place to stay if you need to be in Antwerp. Central location, clean and pleasant.

The apartment is not too big but big enough, especially if you are alone of course but 2 persons still very good; in the middle of the university quarter; good privacy

Niet voor herhaling vatbaar - Onhygiënisch, verouderd beddengoed en ondermaatse verwarming.

Vuile handdoek met haren gemeld aan de organisatie adhv beeldmateriaal. Er werd beloofd zsm een verse te bezorgen. Het bleef enkel bij beloftes. Nogmaals gevraagd of ze hun woord zouden houden en een propere handdoek brengen. Opnieuw mooie beloftes, geen actie. De lakens, hoofdkussen en matras zijn van ondermaatse kwaliteit en dringend aan vervanging toe. De ruimte opwarmen duurt een eeuwigheid, om niet te zeggen onbegonnen als je maar 1 nacht blijft.

とても綺麗。オイル、塩胡椒、コーヒー、紅茶等もあり困らなかった。空調や食器、フライパンや鍋、電子レンジやオーブン、IHヒーターもしっかり機能していました。バスルームにはシャンプー、ボディソープあり。歩いて数分のところにスーパーやランドリーショップもあり、助かった。中心地までのアクセスも良いです。

荷物が多かったので、狭い階段を登るのが大変だった。鍵の受け渡し場所からフラットまでは徒歩20分しないくらい。

Het was niet slecht om daar te overnachten maar poetsen moet nog verbeteren.

• lampen in de kamer waren niet proper, er lag stof op lampen • poets personeel had bij vertrek niet de oude lakens met schmink weg gehaald van bed, poets personeel hield de oude lakens op bed en gooide een nieuwe laken eroverheen. • er iets plakkerig op toog bij de kookplaat, ik probeerde dat plakkerige gedoe weg te doen, dat plakkerig ding is niet gemaakt door mij

Wir würden hier nicht nochmal buchen.

Beim Check-In wurden wir nett empfangen und uns wurde der Zugang zur Unterkunft gut erklärt. Außerdem ist die Lage der Unterkunft gut.

Das Zimmer ist sehr klein gewesen. Wir haben mit sehr viel mehr Platz gerechnet, da die meisten Wohnungen auch wirklich größer sind. Außerdem gab es kein Fenster und es hat etwas nach Abwasser gerochen. Zudem war das Bett ziemlich schlecht mit einer durchgelegenen dünnen Matratze.

Cozy place

O apartamento estava super limpo e arrumado, o quarto tinha uma vista muito bonita. Também tinham toalhas limpas e sabão para o banho, no apartamento tinha tudo que eu precisava, panelas, pratos, copos, geladeira, fogão, máquina de café e etc. Uma coisa que me chamou a atenção foi o cuidado nos mínimos detalhes pelas camareiras, todas as toalhas, papel higiênico e pano de pia dobradas de maneira especial. O bairro é muito tranquilo, com supermercado, farmácia, café e até um mercadinho que fica aberto de noite. Uma noite voltei andando a pé por 15 minutos até a casa e me senti super seguro. O recepcionista foi muito atencioso e gentil comigo, me dando a máxima atenção do começo ao fim. O apartamento superou as minhas expectativas.

Quando reservei o quarto não tinha escrito na plataforma que eu teria que ir até outro local para fazer check-in, isso atrapalhou a minha programação, o lugar não era longe do apartamento mas gostaria que estivesse escrito já no Booking.com. Outra coisa que me incomodou foi o cheiro forte de mofo nas escadas, depois que você entra no quarto o cheiro desaparece e não te incomoda. Pelo que vi só tem apartamentos de breve locação no prédio, acredito que um investimento na limpeza e manutenção das escadas daria um upgrade no lugar.

Top locatie na..........

De andere locatie waar na een mindere start ik mn onderkomen kreeg toe gezegt...een groot appartement aan de andere kant van de stad...was een kompleet apartement met alles erop en aan...was clean, alle faciliteiten binnen hand bereik...goeie buurt...en de mensen die er voor gezorgd hebben voor dit onderkomen...ga er zeker terug op die locatie

De binnen komst op de 1e locatie...heb meteen actie ondernomen...en had resultaat!!!geen details!!

4 giorni ad Anversa

L'appartamento è piccolo ma accogliente. Lo staff è pronto per le eventuali richieste: mancava la biancheria per il terzo letto che ci è stata portata il giorno successivo. C'è il condizionatore: ottimo per la stagione estiva. La cucina è pratica. Un'ottima idea sono i link con i tutorial per il funzionamento di ogni elettrodomestico ( fornello a induzione condizionatore,....)

Mancano le zanzariere alle finestre! Le scale: tante e ripide...non comode per il trasporto delle valigie.

Extreem kleine kamer zonder raam:

Ligging in Antwerpen is prima en Airco aanwezig.

Kamer was écht heel klein. Ook compleet anders dan de foto’s. Er was geen raam naar buiten. Bed was smal en kamer zo klein dat één kant wel tegen de muur aan moest staan. Rook ook een beetje muffig in de kamer.

Goed voor een nacht

Goeie locatie, alles wat je nodig hebt in een studio, zelfs meer dan nodig voor maar 1 nacht.

Duur maar blijkbaar is dat tegenwoordig de gang van zaken. Voor deze prijs mocht het dan mss net iets properder zijn.Glazen plakten aan de kast, kopjes die in de koffiezet stonden waren vuil. Randen van de douche waren niet echt proper. Voor de rest wel netjes.

Alles was erg netjes en heel schoon. Fijn dat er een keuken en koelkast is. Goede ramen die lekker open kunnen. Personeel is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam en via WhatsApp heel goed bereikbaar.

Sleutel moet elders afgehaald worden. Beetje zoeken, niet heel relaxte start. 60 treden omhoog tot ik in de studio was. Met bagage niet heel fijn. Kussens zijn heel slecht. Waardeloos zelfs. Gordijnen kunnen net niet helemaal dicht. Er was geen wifi. Parkeren in de omgeving is niet te doen, is allemaal voor vergunninghouders. Hou rekening met lopen naar de accomodatie

De keuken was compleet.

Erg kleine ruimte, wc naast de douche is erg krap. Veel herrie van andere binnen komende mensen. Niet echt heel dichtbij het centrum. Het was niet heel schoon, stof op de plinten, snoer van bedlamp onder het stof. Net te klein om echt te relaxen. De prijs kwaliteit verhouding klopt niet, te duur voor wat je krijgt.

Onvoldoende met een plus

Ten eerste was er er op oudejaars avond een incident waar bij ik de politie heb opgeroepen ivm excessief geluidsoverlast van andere huurders. Ten tweede hadden we bij boeking duidelijk aangegeven dat er 2 volwassenen en 2 kinderen zouden zijn !!) Aanwezig zouden zijn ,een bed, een slaapbank én een futon. 1 slaapplek te weinig !!! H eb herhaaldelijk aangegeven met 4en te zijn en we slaap materiaal en handdoeken misten !! 1 kussen xtra en een dekbed kregen we ipv 2 voor de kinderen. Geen xtra slaapplek !!! Vond dit wel heel tegenvallen qua hulp en aanreiking.

Vreselijk

We voelen ons opgelicht. We moesten de sleutel afhalen in een ´garage´. We werden naar onze ´studio´ verwezen. Een kwartier stappen..Deze was zeer, zeer klein. In eerste instantie konden we er niet allemaal slapen. Niet iedereen had een bed. 2 van ons hadden een matrasje dat op de grond diende gelegd te worden, maar zelfs daar was geen plaats voor. Na een telefoontje werd er een medewerker gestuurd die ter plekke kwam kijken en ook zag dat dit niet zou lukken. We werden ergens anders heen gewezen, opnieuw een kwartier wandelen. Dit was inderdaad groter. In het tweede appartementje viel de hygiëne ons tegen. Het zetelbed lag ook helemaal niet comfortabel. We hadden ook vraagtekens bij de brandveiligheid.
