La maison est au bord d’une route passante et l’isolation phonique n’est pas très bonne ce qui fait qu’on entend le bruit des voitures, y compris la nuit. Coté équipements: il y avait seulement 3 chaises et 3 petites assiettes et nous étions 4, ce qui n’était pas pratique. Beaucoup de poussière sur les stores. Enfin, on nous a annoncé que des spécialités locales nous attendraient à l’arrivée mais nous n’avons rien trouvé.

This is a self catering cottage, but there is a good sized Spar shop only a few minutes walk away with everything you could need for a good breakfast, or other meals - the potato bread and soda farls were a real trip down memory lane. There is also a smaller shop next door and a large selection of shops including Tesco and Lidl in Limavady which is a 15 minute drive away. The cottage was easy to find and Eamonn was brilliant in terms of communication and anything else we needed. There is plenty to do within easy reach and on a fine day a walk up Binevenagh beckons. Castlerock, the Magilligan Point Ferry to the Inishowen peninsula, the Giant's Causeway, Mussenden Temple, beautiful beaches at Downhill and White Park plus many other sights are just a short hop away. We had a great time and reconnected with family, but were away from the hustle and bustle of life. If you are a National Trust member then it is certainly worth bringing your card with you. The only thing we couldn't work out was how to deal with recycling of bottles and cardboard etc. This is not a reflection on the property though - rather an issue for the local authority.
