The house was up on the mountain side of Scarborough & absolutely beautiful. It was safe & easy to walk to the beach & the village hub (wonderful organic foods & supplies, coffee & the famous very relaxed Camel Rock restaurant). The property was clean & well maintained. The kitchen was beautiful & fully equipped for self catering. Scarborough is an eco village & deliberately kept away from city style living, which we loved.
The linen & bathroom towels could have been better. A minor issue in the bigger scheme of things.

Myself and my Family absolutely loved our stay at Salt House. The location is amazing - located not too far outside of Cape Town but far enough to feel like you've left the City. You'll have breathtaking views of the Beach and Ocean. Salt House is located close a few restaurants and a grocer, so you are able to dine out or pop through to the shops to stock up on supplies. This property is really well suited for a Family getaway with a plunge pool, games room, pizza oven, BBQ facilities, smart TV's, great/high-speed Wifi, and a well stocked Kitchen. We felt safe and secure throughout our stay and totally at peace.
The Host was really amazing and an absolute gem - she communicated clearly and her attention to detail was exceptional. She even went out of her way to arrange flowers, balloon's and a lovely bottle of wine, as two of our family members were celebrating milestone Birthday's.
If you choose Salt House for your next getaway retreat I can assure you that you will not be disapointed!
