About this house rental
Bright basement suite in the picturesque countryside. Welcome to Dark Horse Farm, located minutes from Cherry Point Beach, Cobble Hill mountain, Enrico and Cobble Hill Vineyard, and Arbutus Ridge Golf Course. This newly renovated ground level suite comfortably sleeps 4. Enjoy the hot tub, private bbq and views of the beautiful gardens and hobby farm right outside of your window.
You can find many vineyards to experience, play a round of golf only two minutes away, Cobble Hill Mountain to hike or bike and of course the beach to stroll and relax.
We are conveniently located 5km from Brentwood College and Shawnigan Lake Private School and 6 km from St. Johns Academy. There are grocery stores, restaurants, a medical clinic, and pharmacies a short drive away.
We have two free parking spots at the house. The best way to get around is by vehicle. Public transport and Taxi's are very limited, we advise you to plan ahead! Note, this is a suite In a family home, we are mindful of noise but there can be noise from time to time from above.

This is our second time at Dark Horse Farm on an extended stay. This is a gem in so many ways. The location is quiet and yet near everything you would need to for a short or extended period. The hosts are great and the house has everything you need. The Cowichan Valley has lots to see and do and Dark Horse Farm is a comfortable place to come back to at the end of your day. We would encourage anyone looking for moderately priced accommodation to consider the Dark Horse Farm.

Our stay was lovely. The accommodation was spacious, well equipped and clean. It was a quiet country getaway with a gracious host who provided friendly service whenever needed. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone.
