The space
If you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway in the Ozarks, then Wild Blackberry Hill is the destination for you! Wild Blackberry Hill is located 4 miles outside of St. James, MO which boasts award winning restaurants and wineries.

As you navigate up the hill to the home you will instantly be mesmerized by the charm and nostalgic character of the wood and stone home sitting in the middle of 18 acres surrounded by active wildlife, wildflowers, summer berries, and mature native trees. Once inside Wild Blackberry Hill you will be in awe of the details and design of this two story home which has everything you need for your relaxing stay. The magnificent kitchen is well stocked with spices, dishes, cooking utensils, pots and pans, dishwasher, gas cooking stove, and a delightful coffee bar with your choices of fresh ground coffee, a variety of Keurig cups, or the original Coffee Maker. The dining room has adequate space for your family gatherings as it seats 6 guests along with the breakfast bar which will station 3 additional guests. The living room has a bureau drawer full of fun games and a wrap-around sofa for your family to make some fun and wonderful memories. There is a bathroom on the main floor also which has a tub/shower combo, fluffy elegant towels and comfy robes for your worry free stay. One bedroom is located on the main level with a television and a queen size bed overlooking the beautiful valley below. The upstairs area entry has 2 adorable twin beds for kids or additional guests. Through the glass paneled doors you will be in wonderment once you get a glimpse of the master suite of the house! You will be welcomed by a plush king bed, rocking chair, desk/makeup area, and small television all with a view of the country! When you turn the corner you will be in amazement of the gorgeous open concept master bathroom with a relaxing clawfoot bathtub and state of the art shower with all supplies you need for a true spa experience. This is the perfect space to unwind for the day! You will enjoy reading a good book, the rose petal homemade soaps, spa pillow, flickering battery candles, luxury bathrobes, and an elegant top quality fluffy warm towel fresh from the towel warmer. You will definitely feel rejuvenated after your spa experience!

Let’s not forget about everything the outdoor space offers! The front porch is a wonderful place to sip your morning coffee in one of our wooden rocking chairs with accent pillows and warm throws. Grab a book and enjoy the beauty the property has to offer. You are likely to see some wildlife roaming in the front yard as they explore among the wildflowers and brush. In the evening make your way to the side patio and get a fire blazing in the fire pit and enjoy some marshmallows or hotdogs (stick and firewood provided for a fee). Feel free to explore the grounds by walking the trails and enjoying the beauty Wild Blackberry Hill has to offer. In the early summer we will also supply you with baskets so you can pick your very own wild blackberries that are abundant on the property (hence our name)!

If you decide to take a day trip we highly suggest a trip to the amazing Maramec Spring Park. Pack a picnic lunch and enjoy the trails, springs, museums, feeding the fish, and all the beauty the springs has to offer. It is also a great place for photos! If you are looking to have a fun day enjoying the many local wineries, book the new St. James Trolley and enjoy tasting all the award winning wines in the local area! Don’t forget to make reservations in advance and dine at the famous Sybill’s restaurant. You will not be disappointed.

Guests can enjoy all of the home. The only place we ask guests not to go is the basement.
Other things to note
Please note that while the stone steps leading to the house are absolutely stunning, they are uneven and are difficult to climb.

There is a stock pond behind the house. Please be careful and supervise children.

There are two exterior security cameras with audio. They are located at each door and monitor the entrances and driveway.
