We had a great stay at Franklin house. The home was clean and kept up and in a very peaceful setting yet close to things we wanted to do. Kathryn was available when/if we needed her and she is a wonderful Host. We were there for a weekend to visit Amish country, Serpent Mound and Arc of Appalachia. We definitely would recommend staying here for a nice get-away.

We came to Hillsboro to attend a Bible Camp. This rental was in close proximity and was just perfect. Every detail was very nice. I wish we could rent it again next year but sadly it is already taken.

Spent two nights here while doing a fishing tournament on Rocky Fork. It was a very relaxing place to come back to each night after a long hot day on the boat. Super clean. The host was awesome. Had a little trouble getting the power to charge the boat batteries. They were out there within 10 minutes and resolved my issues. When using your navigation make sure you pick routes that keep you on major roads…. Wasn’t paying attention and ended up on a really narrow road. Again the hosts helped out and gave me some different directions for the morning and all was good. Will stay here again for the next tournament. The only thing I wish it had was a washer and dryer, but it wasn’t that big of a deal. Washed my shirt in the sink and hung it outside to dry. 10 outta 10!!!!

This property was very clean, accurately described, super quiet & therapeutic! It was saturated with thoughtful touches. Bed was amazingly comfortable. In all of my travels this would certainly rank in the top one percent of all stays. Never experienced a better overall stay! A perfect blend of amazing quietness, quality furnishings, excellent property, and affordability! We can’t wait to come back! Book this, you won’t regret it! The quietness is awesome, offers cozy gas fireplace, beautiful views from windows, cute covered porch, etc. Enjoy!

This was our 2nd stay and it was just as peaceful as the first. The place is spotless with many extras. We were there in below freezing and windy weather, and you did feel some air through the outlets and some seals, but the fireplace warmed it wonderfully. We will be back. This is our new getaway!

This historical house was the perfect place for us to rest and relax while we were visiting the area to enjoy the outdoors. It is the perfect place to get away from a chaotic city life and to enjoy the sites and sounds of rural Ohio. We look forward to the opportunity to stay again sometime.

This is one of the nicest VRBO's we ever stayed in with regard to total peace, furnishings, ambiance, etc. Surrounded by fields or soy, overlooking a field of hay bales, watching the sunrise and sunset, this VRBO encourages relaxation. Kitchen is nicely furnished, shower was tall (a must for me) plenty of space, good amenities. Mattress may need replaced soon, but everything else was just perfect. We will be back.
