Enjoy a view from every window nestled on a knoll above Hatcher Lake. Watch the deer, fox, geese, magpie, bluebirds, and hummingbirds go through their daily routines in this peaceful neighborhood just 15 minutes from all amenities in the town of Pagosa. Great centrally located spot to enjoy the outdoors; just 1 mile to Turkey Springs Trailhead (great star gazing), 45 minutes East to Wolf Creek Ski Area and the continental divide, 1 hour west to Durango, and 100 yards to fish in Hatcher Lake.

This home was absolutely perfect for my large family of 6 and two dogs. The kitchen had absolutely everything we needed to prepare four large meals. There is one bedroom downstairs connected to the bathroom. The Queen bed downstairs was very firm and my wife preferred sleeping in that room. There are three bedrooms upstairs! The master has a plush king sized bed with plenty of room. The two additional bedrooms upstairs have a queen bed that is spacious. The third bedroom upstairs has two twin beds and would be better suited for smaller kids due to the slanted ceiling. My adult son was able to make that room work. There is a fenced in back yard that is perfect for smaller dogs that don’t care to escape or jump fences. The outdoor area would be perfect for a cookout in the warmer months. We were only 45 minutes away from WolfCreek with dry roads. The views of the lake are gorgeous. The view of the mountains from the front of the house are stunning. Away from town and about 10-15 minutes from the Hot Springs. The dining table had plenty of room for dinner for 6 and card games and Mexican train dominoes after that. Communication was flawless with the host. Quick to respond via text and phone during our initial contact. The house was comfortable and the unique heating systems works great. WiFi was good enough for my wife and daughter to both work via computer for about 6 hours simultaneously.
I highly recommend this home for a big family and couple of dogs also.
