About this house rental
Perfectly situated between Alys Beach and Rosemary Beach, "Salt and Light" is walkable and bikeable to it all! Enjoy private beach access, a resort style pool (one of the largest in Florida!), a pool-side cafe, charming brick-paved and palm-lined streets, private walking trails, a beautiful outdoor amphitheater (great for Bocce or Frisbee!), and tram service to the pool or the beach! (Runs March to October). Take a short stroll to The Village of South Walton for live music, bike rentals, restaurants, ice cream, retail shops, and more!
This beautiful, light-filled house is the perfect layout for families and friends to spend quality time together. The downstairs has 3 bedrooms (King, Queen, and Double Bunk Beds w/ trundles) - all with their own private bathrooms! Upstairs is an additional bedroom (Queen), full bath, beautiful and bright kitchen and dining area, wide open family room, and TWO large covered porches - great for conversation, coffee, or happy hour!
If you would like to rent bikes, plan a beach bonfire, book a tee time, or set up babysitting…. Just let us know and we’ll get you all the information you need to plan your perfect getaway!

Logistics:
After booking we’ll request a few pieces of information to get you set up with amenities during your visit! The HOA charges $2.50 per day, per guest to use amenities (only applies to guests 11 years old and older.) This charge will be added after initial booking.
Our driveway accommodates three vehicles. There are also parking bays throughout the neighborhood that can be used on a first come, first serve basis.
During busier times and due to limited infrastructure, internet connectivity may be affected. (This applies to the whole area. We maintain the fastest wifi available.)

This vacation home is great! The layout was perfect for our family, super clean and the location was perfect. We were able to walk and bike ride to several shops, restaurants, pool and beach. The tram was very convenient to bring the chairs to and from the beach.
The Rosemary Beach area is stunning! We will 100% be back.

We had a great stay here. We highly recommend this excellent home for families. There are age bedrooms and three full bathrooms on the ground floor. The main living area is on the second floor. There are two decks on the second floor — great for relaxing and enjoying coffee, meals. We rented bikes and felt comfortable letting our fourth grader explore the neighborhood. The community pool is far enough away do you don’t hear any noise yet close enough to walk to in a few minutes. The beach is not too much farther and can be reached be tram, bike, or on foot. We had great access to restaurants and groceries; we ordered delivery twice and had groceries dropped off once. We cooked most of our meals at the house: there is a great grill right outside the kitchen. Excellent communications and support from Brooke, the owner.

This house and the host were as good as it gets! We visited 30a to attend the Songwriter Festival. This house in Seacrest was the perfect place to stay during the festival. It's in a beautiful neighborhood which is super close to Rosemary Beach, Alys Beach and the restaurants and shops in Seacrest. The house was super clean and kept up well. The host was extremely helpful before and during our trip. I would definitely recommend this house!
