This apartment is located on the first floor of a 4-story residence in southern Chamonix. It features a balcony with a small round table and two chairs, facing Mont Blanc. The apartment has a separate bedroom with a closet and a television. The living room features a table and four chairs, a sofa bed, a coffee table, a TV, and a small stereo system. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, a fridge-freezer, a coffee maker, a toaster, and a kettle. A bathroom with a shower and a washing machine. Separate toilet. One parking space under the residence or outside for vehicles taller than 1.85 meters, plus a ski locker. For your winter stay, the bus station is a 5-minute walk from the residence, providing access to all the resorts in the valley; the town is a 5-minute walk away for après-ski activities. In the summer, hiking trails start right at the residence or are accessible by bus.

This was a beautiful stay and I would recommend it to any of my friends or family. I’m not a terribly outdoorsy so I spent a good amount of time strolling through the city center and main streets for restaurants and shopping. It was very close to those things, just across the street from the river with a beautiful Mountain View from the balcony. Despite being so close to all of this, it is still very quiet and I was never interrupted by excessive noise. It is also very close to multiple forms of public transport, from the Mont Blanc express to local buses to the long haul buses like FlixBus that brought me in from Geneva. The host was very easy to get in contact with. The room was very clean when I arrived. I can’t think of a better place to stay, especially for someone like me who is a solo female traveler not from Europe.

In general it was quiet, and the view was nice. Also near the village. Although it was mentioned that WiFi is unreliable I think it would be appreciated if WiFi would work better (there are some bars/restaurants with free wifi in the neighborhood).
