Still nice place to stay!

Ladder to the bedroom is steep, bed ceiling is low and the staircase, other than that is excellent.

Great place to base for some mountain or chamonix action.

Nice and compact. central location.

Mezzanine floor would suit everyone. Dining table grimy/sticky and needs a deep clean, which was a shame as the rest of the property was spotless. Oh, and no WiFi???

There are several low beams that I banged my head on but can only blame myself for that! Also would have been useful to have access to a drying room for damp ski gear.

Chamonix is Magnificent!

Centrally located apartment close to shops/bars/ski lifts. Stunning view from window. Very comfortable residence, with plenty of space. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook. The bathroom is excellent with a rainfall shower, lovely in the morning. The sofa bed is very comfortable.

No toaster for bread! A minor detail. No electric drying rail for wet clothing (there is an airer for clothes) No hand-rail on steep stairs to upstairs of apartment, this needs adding for safety.

Clean, central and well-equipped flat for a stay in Chamonix

Great apartment - well located close to the main bus station (also used for transfer to the various ski areas) & the Aigulle de Midi cable car - and a 5-minute walk to the main shopping/restaurant street. Grocery store and ski rental in the square downstairs. Quiet at night, allowing for undisturbed sleep. Great view (of town & mountainside) from the window. Good standard of the equipment - in particular extremely useful to have a dishwasher when on holidays!

Nothing really. As the elevator stops at the 5th floor, you have to walk up one flight of stairs to the flat, but this is a small price to pay for the great view from the window! (It would have been good if the towel heater in the bathroom had been connected, but I understood later that it had been disconnected due to excessive energy consumption. Hopefully this will be fixed with a 1-hour timer or so.)

Appartment Forclaz, Winter 2024

A very well appointed apartment with comfortable bed and good facilities. Great bathroom with rainfall shower. Located in the centre of Chamonix, with beautiful mountain views. Close to gondolas and bus stops to other resorts. Very near our favourite pub 😂 We have already re-booked for January 2025

Access to the upstairs bedroom is a little tight, due to it being a loft style apartment, but not a major issue. Stairs could use a hand rail.

The lift in the apartment didn’t work but we could partly use the lift in adjoining apartment for 4 out of 6 floors but a bit of a trek with skies. Builders were there fixing lift though

Fabulous

The apartment was great, clean, modern. Was exactly what we were expecting. Great location in central Chamonix-Mont-Blanc. Nice hub of shops bars and restaurants just outside.

Bit tricky to get up to the bed in the open stairs or to come down at night to use the facilities without turning the lights on to wake everyone up. Main issue, not really to do with the apartment, but the one next door is / was rented to teens/ youngsters who partied in their room till midnight and then went out to return at 3am drunk and carry on most nights. As we were there for 8 nights we had a changeover of guests there whilst we were there but the next guests were the same. Anyone making any noise in the corridor, or using the stairwell for drunken chats can be heard clearly. More than once I had to go out and shout at people to shut up as it was 3am

Super verblijf in de heel mooie omgeving van Chamonix

Mooi en proper Duplex appartement waar alles wat nodig was aanwezig was. Alles was zoals op de foto's aangegeven.(zithoek/keuken/badkamer/boven slapen). Heel goede centrale ligging in Chamonix, alles te voet bereikbaar. Parking ondergronds is een grote bonus want in Chamonix zelf is het heel moeilijk om te parkeren en ook heel duur. Onze hond mocht gratis mee, super lief van de eigenaar.

Het was heel warm die periode dus airco zou een plus geweest zijn want nu was het wel heel warm binnen omdat het appartement onder het dak ligt. Opgelost door goed gebruik van het raam en de gordijnen ervoor. Enige minpunt was dat de sleutelbadge voor de garage niet aanwezig was in het kluisje dus hebben we op straat moeten parkeren bij aankomst op een zondag. De eigenaresse hebben we echter vlot kunnen contacteren en zij heeft dan op maandag vlug actie genomen om ons te helpen. Communicatie met haar verliep heel vlot. Tip: Via Office du toerisme hebben we een gastenkaart gekregen voor de gratis trein in het dal, dat was de eigenaresse wellicht vergeten te zeggen.
