Modern and welcoming apartment a stone's throw from the Levante seafront in Ortigia.
The apartment, recently renovated, is located on the ground floor of a building situated in one of the typical alleyways of Ortigia and consists of a single open-plan space. The entrance opens onto the living area, equipped with a double sofa bed, television, dining table and fully equipped kitchen. A wardrobe separates the living room from the sleeping area with a double bed. A bathroom with shower completes the layout.

For lovers of relaxation and the sea, Eastern Sicily and the area surrounding Syracuse offer everything one could desire. Starting from the ancient Greek city and heading south, the best equipped and most beautiful beaches to explore are Minareto, Fanusa, Arenella and Fontane Bianche, whose name derives from natural sources of fresh water and the particular white colour of the sand. Within the island of Ortigia, moreover, you will find equipped solarium (Zefiro and Nettuno) and a small free beach called Cala Rossa. Going further south, approximately 30 km away, we find some beautiful unspoilt and inaccessible beaches, including Calamosche, Vendicari with its Natural Faunal Oasis and the beautiful San Lorenzo. For culture enthusiasts, the Greek Theatre of Syracuse is definitely worth seeing, along with the entire archaeological park with the Ear of Dionysius, a cave carved into limestone in the shape of a human ear, the Paolo Orsi museum, and also the Latomies of the Capuchins, as well as Ortigia itself with its historical and cultural beauties as well as scenic ones. Not to be overlooked are Noto, the seafront with the Avola tuna fishery and finally the fishing village of Marzamemi. The unit was described as having a full kitchen. There was no microwave to heat take away food in or any type of oven. There was only one knife and it was a bread knife, so very hard to cut food unless it was bread. The front living area with sleeper sofa was noisy and bright as daylight so my friend couldn't sleep - unit is right on a busy corner and there were no shades for the glass door - only a film over it. The response to requesting a small microwave was non-existent, however when I asked for sheets for the sofa (I rented specifically stating there were 2 friends staying) those were delivered promptly as I was charged an additional 26 euros. The location on Ortigia was very good.
