Villa THEROS

A beautiful house in a beautiful location. Great pool, loads of space and well-appointed throughout. And the views! What a place to watch the Aegean and those amazing sunsets. It was our first time on Naxos and the house was a great base for us to explore the island. We loved the local beaches.

It would have been good to have some shade in the pool area between c5.30 and 8.30pm when the sun moved around and before it set each night. Maybe some simple blinds in one of the seating areas?

Amazing views. Probably the best views on the Island looking at Paros. A great villa in many ways. Here is what we liked: Views, modern, well maintained, with almost everything you need, super quiet, nice pool and bbq area. Owner was helpful. Pictures reflect the property. The things we did not like: WiFi was interrupted a lot. Kids could not watch movies. And my wife had a problem conducting some business she needed to handle on her laptop; access to the property requires a 4x4 or all wheel drive vehicle and a sense of adventure to get to the property- very steep decline and incline; there was a weird smell in the downstairs bedroom and we could not figure it out- but it was strong; it’s windy up there and the wind pushed a door wide open and it broke a lamp- we felt awful but the owner was understanding; the cleaner/local representative sent us a nasty text saying that we were awful and sent us pictures of the broken lamp, and messy kids bed, and dirty tooth brush container and trash receptacles—really insane. We left all the dishes cleaned and food for her to have and we picked up as best we could as we had to check out at 10am. We took care of the place like it was ours. We stayed for 8 days and took trash out and dropped it off as required many times. Just left the last few days of trash.
