Extremely steep and long hill to get to the house. Website says 50m to mikri Vigla beach but this is incorrect. It is approx 1km but there is awesome kitesurfing there. (You can also swim at bottom of steep hill approx 400m away)

This is one of the best places I’ve stayed in my 6 trips to Naxos over the last 20 years. It’s high in the hills, at the end of the road, totally quiet except for a few cats who stop by. There’s a house on one side but it’s abandoned. You’re surrounded by the natural landscape & hills on all sides except for road / driveway which ends at the house. The most amazing thing is the awe inspiring views of the Plaka beaches & the lights of Naxos town & the castle to the north. It has 3 or 4 decks, & beautiful Bougainville & flowering shrubs. Everything worked fine. The host was very accommodating w payment details.

It’s a steep road getting to the house, which our rental car was able to navigate.
