On the Danube very clean comfortable, lovely hosts. Nice breakfast, and excellent fish dinner. Great boat ride to the Iron gate

What an absolutely beautiful place to stay, on a lovely, calm bay of the Danube. The views are beautiful, sitting out on the lawn with a drink in the evening was perfection. The hosts, Sasha and his parents were great. The home cooked Serbian food was delicious and excellent value. All of the food is locally sourced. The rooms were modern and very comfortable. They stayed nice and cool (despite the 37 degree heat!). The rooms had air conditioning and a small fridge to keep drinks cool. It was a very quiet and peaceful location. We hired a kayak (20 Euros for the day, with paddles and life jackets) and paddled up and down the river, and swam in the river, I would definitely recommend doing this. You can also go on a boat tour from here. The local area was great for history (Levenski Vir mesolithic village) and hiking. Lots of great animals to see if that's your thing (heron, egret, kingfisher, nose horned viper, dice snake, storks were a few of the things we saw). The hosts were very knowledgeable about the local area so can give you some recommendations on what to do - check out the website for the accommodation online as it gives more information than Booking.com.

Nothing, it was spot on (although maybe the room could do with some more lights as it was a bit dark with the shutters closed to keep out the sun)
