Home away from home

Great location, stunning view, clean and comfortable. Mark, the host, was extremely attentive and made us feel at home away from home.

I liked everything. The bathroom was on the small side, but our family of 4 still managed perfectly well.

Great location with incredible sea views. Mark was a helpful and friendly host, who presented a very comfortable, clean and cosy apartment with ample amenities. A short walk to the seafront and less than 10 minute walk into the town center. Several great restaurants just around the corner. We really enjoyed our 7 day visit and are looking forward to our next stay.

Cannot recommend enough

We stayed here recently whilst visiting family and cannot recommend it highly enough. It’s a wonderful property in a lovely location, close to all amenities, with breathtaking views of the sea, harbour and local park. Mark, our host, was exceptionally welcoming and helpful.

Stayed with my daughter to visit my home town.

it was close to the parks.

The advertising said the host would be there to meet us if we arranged a time but this didn't happen. We were given a code. Some of this however was because we did not have a british phone number. We could not get the TV to work or the heating. We could have rang a number for help but we just give up. The property was not as big as we had expected and we paid over $1000 for 3 nights so we were a bit dissapointed. If the host cannot turn up it would be good to have an introductory pack to see how to work things. Because it was a loft apartment there were four flights of stairs to walk up and the stairwell was not what you would call welcoming. The welcome pack was just the very basic and I would have expected more because of how much we paid. In hindsight I should have looked at the reviews regarding the heating not working even if you follow the instructions.

Enjoyed our stay - couple of fixes and it will make it much better

Getting into the apartment was quick and easy - good comms with hosts. Super convenient free parking outside and getting to beach. Great Colemans Fish and Chips just 2 mins around the corner. Lovely views from lounge window.

Couple of maintenance issues - toilet seat needs fixing and bedroom doors didn't close. We didn't flag up at the time, as we weren't staying long.

Hassle free stay in a well kept home with amazing views

Opposite a beautiful park with uninterrupted views of the North Sea. The place was clean and comfortable. Parking was easy with available spots out the front. Mark was a great host, very detailed.

Welcoming, Comfortable with a fantastic View

The host Mark was great & really accommodating. Due to miss understanding we found ourselves without anywhere to stay on our holiday to the North East, but we managed to secure this lovely apartment within half an hour & we couldn't have found anywhere better. The view overlooking the park & out to sea was just amazing. The apartment had every thing you needed, comfortable & homey. Beds were comfy too.

A pleasant week, nice places to eat. Nice local pub.

Watching the big ships going into and out of the Tyne.

We were not given the correct address, the paper work and info said it was apartment no 25, when it was actually no 25B. We only found out by testing key codes on the lock boxes. This was after we had walked into and disturbed some living at no 25!

The views and the location Clean, comfortable bed, hot shower. Wi fi. On street parking outside. Able to walk through park to seafront. Quiet at night0

Stairs 3 flights of steep stairs Bathroom very small. Air freshener smell very strong. Not very warm, no instructions for heating. There is on street parking but at busy times of the year/ nice weekends this may not always be available on the road outside. Street outside a lot of litter ( owner can't do much about that)

Outside was covered in litter. Metal framed bed rattled every time you moved. Draughty windows. Too many stairs
