We visited South Shields to track my husband’s parent’s history from getting married in St Michael’s beautiful chapel, M

Tasteful decor, well thought out and had all the kitchen utensils required. A complementary pack with coffee, tea, milk, sugar and more ensuring our First night/morning was comfortable and wanted for nothing. Comfortable large bed and the bathroom with shower/bath. Pet friendly with a yard at the back. Centrally located and ample street parking.

There was nothing to dislike as it met all our needs and more.

All the amenities you could need for a weekend stay and the welcome hamper was a real treat :) Close enough to the beach and town but far enough away not to be crowded.

Great little house. Super clean and very comfy.

The property was very clean and comfy. The king size bed was fantastic. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. The hosts were lovely and very helpful. They even left us a little welcome basket of cookies, tea, coffee, sugar and milk. There was even a bottle of wine in the fridge. Parking was available outside the front door too. Easy access to Sunderland. We were staying as we went to see Pink at the stadium. Close the the beach as well. Took a walk there, the beach was beautiful too.

Superb

Lovely place with everything you’d need, even a little welcome basket which was lovely! Comfy beds and very clean. Was perfect for us visiting family in South Shields and not far from Gateshead for the metro centre.

The property itself had no faults, sometimes there was an issue with parking. The neighbours must not be used to having an extra car parked outside so they parked with big gaps meaning sometimes we couldn’t fit. Not a big issue or the owners fault we just had to park round the corner or on the other side of the road :)

I liked the decor and the garden and the big comfy bed.

It was really cold even when I turned radiators up so it was very cosy we had to walk about with blankets on us. Also the owner wasn't very smiley when we met him he was quite blunt. Apart from that the house was great.

South Shields is worth a visit, lovely coast line and city of Newcastle is very interesting

Everything we needed was there. Everything was in good state and clean. The owners were kind and helpful.

It seemed a bit soulless compared to other properties we hired in Shields previously. Perhaps that was due to a different taste in decorating to be fair.
