A nice quiet stay with comfortable beds but does not have the usual amenities I would expect with a gite.
It is in a very good location. Far from anyone else which is what we wanted, it was nice and quiet. The beds were comfortable. The host also provided a bottle of cider for us on arrival which was a nice touch. We never met the hosts as the keys are in a lockbox, instructions are sent to you on the day of arrival. This was a positive for us as we were happy to just let ourselves in.
It appears to be an old property, so it is a little bit smelly. It is also very creaky, when anyone walks upstairs the whole place shakes. I also didn’t realise that they do not provide towels so we didn’t bring any. I received an email from the host when I got back to say they were disappointed that I had not taken the bedsheets off of the bed and brought them downstairs. I have stayed in many gites and this has never been an expectation. I thought I had turned the dishwasher on after breakfast on our last day as we left at 8 am, but I forgot to press the on button and the host was not happy with this either. We also only had one toilet roll between four people for three nights so you might want to bring your own. The shower does not drain very well so it gets very wet in there.

Séjour très décevant. Le ramage ne se rapporte pas au plumage.
Les extérieurs du batiment. Le calme.
Réfrigérateur sous dimensionné et non utilisable entièrement car incomplet. Escalier raide et dangereux. Boiseries et portail rustiques voire vétustes. Local douche systématiquement inondé et receveur de douche très glissant et dangereux. Restrictions dans l'utilisation des appareils électriques et de l'eau chaude. Le détecteur de fumée qui retentit sans raison à 3h du matin.
